We had a wonderful stay at the Lake Martin House! The setting is incredibly serene, located on a quiet, private lane with picturesque lake views. Since we were preparing Christmas dinner, we were so grateful for the well-appointed kitchen—it truly had all the essentials. We also loved the location; it’s a beautiful drive to both Auburn and Montgomery. A huge thank you to our hosts for their excellent communication and for making sure our holiday was special. A 5-star experience!

The house was well stocked and very comfortable!

The host was very proactive and responsive. The marina blocks the view and the stairs down to the water need repair which make getting to the water very treacherous as multiple steps have broken. House is in good condition and was very clean.

Such a beautiful home. Very quiet and peaceful. Easy to find and right across from the marina to launch the boat or grab pizza.

Had a great stay. Very nice place and location. Will be looking to rent next year.

Had a wonderful month long stay relaxing on the lake & making memories with family! Emily & Chris were incredibly easy to communicate with and quickly responded to any questions. Their welcome guide was very informative & provided all the needed info. The location provided both privacy & convenience & the house was well stocked for our needs. And they have a local handyman who is easily accessible if any issues come up! Would definitely book with them again.

The house was very nice! The view leaves alot to be desired, all you can see is an old marina. The dock is nice. The neighborhood is clean and quiet. The host was friendly and responsive.

Emily was such a nice and responsive host! She easily accommodated our request for an early check in for my daughter's graduation from Auburn University. However, the cleanliness did not meet expectations as there were a pile of cigarette butts on the porch, dirty floors, and dirty outdoor furniture we had to wipe down. A lot of laundry was left in the dryer and we never found any wine glasses. Overall we had a lovely stay celebrating my daughter's graduation and we enjoyed the wide range of game and movie selections.

The house was beautiful! It’s like the hosts thought of everything you would need and more and then made sure it was in the house. We enjoyed our stay so much!

What a wonderful home! Great set up for a multi-generational family weekend. The view is fantastic, and we loved using the kayaks to explore the lake. Tons of life jackets and games available too. This place has everything you need!

We had a wonderful time here. I love how there are three separate levels so that all guests can have their own privacy/space. The place is even pet friendly so my fur babies enjoyed the stay also. Having access to the kayaks was great. It was very relaxing out on the lake! The large screened in porch was a nice extra space as well. The house had all the necessary amenities. There were nice restaurants and stores all very close by as well. I would definitely recommend this place to others!

The house was well equipped and cozy But there were many stairs to get to the lake. I didn’t realize the lake would be down 10 feet and so the view was not what I expected.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely lake front home. The house is beautifully decorated and fully stocked with all the basics you’ll need to feel right at home. Peaceful and serene, but just 30-45 minutes to shops and restaurants in the surrounding towns. Golf in the area was nice, too. Would recommend!

Absolutely amazing hosts! Beautiful home, with a great community setting. We travel often and have never received such a great line of communication as we received at our stay this past weekend. When we arrived the home still needed to be cleaned, I messaged our hosts and I received a response within 5 minutes! The cleaners had a miscommunication with our dates. Our host was more than apologetic and treated us to dinner during our whole stay!! As we are more than understanding that things happen and we were not worried however they insisted. When we arrived back the home was pristine! The photos do not do this home justice! The accommodations in the home were just like being at home, fully stocked kitchen, bathrooms, and they actually had cleaning products! Our family will be staying here again! Don’t pass this host or home up! I couldn’t ask for a more relaxing stay!

Wonderful! I brought the dogs, and the kids visited from Aubrun to make for an outstanding reunion of family and dogs!

The cabin was spectacular!!! EXACTLY as described, very comfortable and relaxing!! Locals were friendly, felt safe and secure. Want to keep it as a hidden treasure, but would definitely recommend!! Will definitely go back!!

Absolutely wonderful in every way. We enjoyed staying at this place. This place is very conveniently located next to a marina and a quiet cove great for fishing and boat slip. Really can’t say anything negative about this property and the hosts. Chris was fantastic. Called me directly to give me some tips on parking my boat trailer and was easy to deal with. This place will most likely be booked when you are looking, but if it is not, you should grab it immediately.

Private dock is a plus and a short walk also chucks marina is next door so very convenient.

Right on the water with an assigned boat dock. Access to the huge Lake Martin, which has its own beautiful scenery. If you plan on bass fishing, make sure you have a net. There are some pretty big largemouth bass in the lake. Or if you want to ski, knee board or ride a tube, this is the location. Plenty of room for a big family. Beautiful place. I felt as comfortable as I do in my own home. Thank you Chris and Emily.

We really enjoyed our stay at Emily’s Lake House. It was so peaceful & relaxing. House matched the description & photos and was super clean. We loved having access to the kayaks & enjoyed exploring the lake. The location was great-just 40 minutes from Auburn and also close to many Lake Martin restaurants. We will definitely be back!

This was the perfect house to be on the water, do some kayaking, and just relax. We had some activities to attend and with our daughter at Auburn, and it was an easy 35 minute drive to campus. We may bring our boat next time or rent one locally to explore more of Lake Martin. The house is very clean and nicely furnished. We will be back! Thank you so much!

Great stay. Home was very clean and as described. We definitely recommend for a quiet lake vacation.

Enjoyed our stay. The house was well stocked and clean. We spent most of our time fishing, kayaking, and sitting on the screened in porch.

Pros: location was excellent. Right on the water. Appreciated there was a washer/ dryer and soap for the machine. Also plenty of other supplies (hand/ dish soap, spices in the kitchen, plenty of towels). Communication was immediate and issues were addressed promptly. Loved that there were 4 kayaks and plenty of vests/ paddles. Cons: we arrived to a pretty dark house. Lots of bulbs burnt out but Emily had it taken care of the next day. The mattresses / covers were stained/ dirty and while the place was surface level clean it’s a bit worn (couches/ carpets / bedding). The grill was not too clean either so we covered it in aluminum foil to use it. When we pulled out the trundle there was some trash underneath.

We had a great stay at Emily’s place. It was cozy and clean. Perfect amount of space for a long weekend. Love that it was close enough to town that we could go out to eat. Would love to stay there again.
